Connect via MCP

Attach AuraLogger to your coding agent (Claude Code, Cursor, or any MCP client) so it can read and write your project's logs.

The MCP server URL

Add this URL as a remote MCP server in your coding app. On the live site use https; on your machine use http://localhost:3000/mcp. The scheme must match exactly — http and https are different doors.

Production
https://auralogger.com/mcp
Local development
http://localhost:3000/mcp

How to connect

Add the server URL in your MCP settings, authenticate, then tap Allow on the AuraLogger screen.

  1. Open your MCP settings and add a new server using the URL above.
  2. Click Authenticate / Connect. AuraLogger opens a sign-in page if you are logged out, then an Allow screen.
  3. Sign in if asked, then tap Allow. Deny gives the app no token.
  4. Return to the app. You should see the init,create_project, and get_logs tools.

Usage ways for the MCP URL

Use https for remote agents and http://localhost:3000/mcp for local development.

Remote (production)

Use for agents running outside your machine — e.g. cloud Claude Code sessions or a Cursor workspace synced to a remote dev environment.

https://auralogger.com/mcp

Local development

Run the dev server locally (npm run dev on port 3000) and point your local MCP client at it.

http://localhost:3000/mcp

Add to Claude Code

Add AuraLogger as an MCP server so Claude Code can run init, create_project, and get_logs against your project.

{
"mcpServers": {
"auralogger": {
"command": "npx",
"args": [
"mcp-remote",
"https://auralogger.com/mcp"

}
}
}

Then restart Claude Code. In chat you can ask it to set up AuraLogger in this repo, and it will call the init tool to get copy-ready setup steps.

Add to Cursor

Open Cursor Settings → Features → MCP, add a new server, and paste the MCP URL.

Open Cursor Settings → Features → MCP, add a new server, and paste the MCP URL. Cursor will open the browser Allow flow; tap Allow after signing in.

Once connected, the Cursor agent can use init,create_project, and get_logs directly from Composer or Chat.

Available tools

init, create_project, and get_logs.

init

Setup steps for JavaScript or Python. Returns copy-ready install, env, and SDK configuration instructions.

create_project

Mints a new AuraLogger project and returns only the project token. Write it to AURALOGGER_PROJECT_TOKEN.

get_logs

Fetches one page of logs for a project. Needs the project token (not the project id) and the session name you put in env.

Full migration prompt

Replace an existing logger with AuraLogger end-to-end.
